Dr. Blumenthal received her bachelor’s degree from Clark University and her Masters and Doctoral degrees from Antioch University. Originally from the Boston area, she moved to Oregon in 2008 to enjoy the lifestyle of the Pacific Northwest. While in Boston, she worked for many years in the healthcare sector offering counseling, coaching, and support to individuals and groups in high stress medical professions.
Dr. Blumenthal’s theoretical orientation is interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral, which means she views most human problems as a result of a disconnection in relationships and distortions in thinking. She works with people to find better ways of relating to others and developing healthier self-perceptions.
Dr. Blumenthal is a Blue Cross/ Blue Shield provider. She also offers a sliding fee scale. You may find more information about her practice at www.drpatblumenthal.com
